MARK THIESSEN
Mark Thiessen has been in the commercial real estate industry for the past fifteen years.He has previously been employed with a Western Canada based firm which required his involvement in all sectors of real estate in the City of Winnipeg, including office, retail and industrial properties.Mark has been the direct liaison with many institutional clients, including Telus Corporation, Worker's Compensation Pension Fund of Ontario and Prudential Company of England.He has also been hired on a Tenant Representation basis by Bell Canada, United Parcel Service, The Salvation Army and many others.
Mark is an active member of the Winnipeg Real Estate Board's Commercial Division, serving as a member of the Executive Council since 1997 and currently Past-Chair of the Commercial Division.He served on the I. C. & I. Marketing and Information Services committee which developed the computerization of commercial real estate listings (CLS) in Winnipeg.He is now the Chair of a committee struck to enhance the data exchange locally and sits on a task force looking at rewriting the national system hosted by the Canadian Real Estate Association.Mark has also served five years on the Board of Directors of the Rainbow Society, two as Vice President of the Society (1995 - 1997), and also as Membership Chairman for Leads 2000.In each of the past four years, Mark received a Salesperson of The Year recognition, which was awarded, based on a tabulation of votes from his peers of The Winnipeg Real Estate Board.
Mark's years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, his ability to provide concise information to his clients, and his high level of professionalism in the industry allows him to provide a superior level of service to all of his clients.He is very well respected within the brokerage community for his integrity and tenacious work ethic.
Mark is a member of "The Commercial Team" along with his partner Dave Bergman.
