    Mr Thadani is the founder and a director of Symphony International Holdings Limited ("Symphony"), an investment holding company listed on the London Stock Exchange. He is the Chairman of Symphony Investment Managers Limited. Symphony invests in development capital, buyout and venture capital transactions throughout the Asia Pacific region. The primary thrust of the investment programme is to invest in Healthcare, Hospitality, Lifestyle and a variety of other consumer-based businesses. Mr Thadani has been investing in private equity transactions since 1981 when he formed one of Asia's first private equity investment companies.

    Mr Thadani is a member of the Board of Trustees of Singapore Management University ("SMU") and Chairman of the SMU Enterprise Board. He also sits on the boards of several public and private companies in Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and India.

    Mr Thadani holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
