John is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.He also is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court.

John is an active member of the American Bar Association, and the New Hampshire and Manchester Bar Associations.

John received his J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1992.He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

John also serves as a judge for the Harvard Law School First-year Moot Court Program.

A life long resident of New Hampshire, John attended Manchester Central High School.Among his many community activities, John is a graduate of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.John is a founding member of the Law Enforcement Appreciation Committee, and participates in the Lawyer in Every School program.John currently serves as Police Commissioner in the City of Manchester, as well as a Board Member of the Manchester Crime Line.

Attorney John Tenn, who owns the building, said only the first floor will be renovated.The building has been in his family for at least 20 years.

"There's been ongoing discussions with the Mayor's Office and my family . . . inquiring about potential plans" for renovations, Tenn said.

Tenn said he isn't sure how long the renovation will take or who may rent the renovated space.

POLICE ADDITION - Manchester attorney John Tenn is the latest appointee on the Manchester Police Commission.He has served on the Law Enforcement and Appreciation Committee, a joint committee organized by the Manchester Police Department and the Manchester School Department.
