Mrs. Temple is survived by her three children, Thomas Guyton Temple and his wife, Elaine Clark Temple and William Henry Temple and his wife, Christina Aymond Temple, all of Baton Rouge, and Mary Ellen Hood and her husband, Steven Hood, Bunkie; five grandchildren, Kelly Clark Temple, New Orleans, Kimberly Hood Stewart, St. Francisville, Paul Guyton Hood, Thibodeaux, Sarah Elizabeth Temple, Charlottesville, Va., and Lauren Caulfield Temple, Baton Rouge; and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Temple graduated from Bolton High School in 1935, and Louisiana College in 1968. She taught social studies at Bunkie High School for many years. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Bunkie, serving as director of the nursery for several years. Mrs. Temple was an avid gardener, devoted mother and beloved grandmother.
