Jean-Pierre Temime, France Telecom Large Business Division Director of Marketing - Enterprise Solutions
Jean-Pierre Temime is a graduate of École Polytechnique (class of 1970) and Télécom Paris (ENST, class of 1975).He began his career with France Telecom in 1975 at the Centre National d'Études des Télécommunications (CNET, today France Telecom R&D) research center, where he was responsible for research in video coding and teleconferencing.
In late 1986 he joined France Telecom corporate management as deputy to Jérôme Rémy, taking part in the launch of the Numeris-ISDN program.In 1989 he became head of the program and orchestrated the rollout of France Telecom's ISDN service.
From 1990 to 1995 he held a variety of positions in marketing and sales with France Telecom's Marketing and Sales Department.He was responsible for defining strategy for corporate products and services, including backbone networks, virtual private networks, application services, terminals and corporate networks.
Between 1995 and 2000, Jean-Pierre Temime headed France Telecom's large corporate accounts unit, which is responsible for the group's top 70 customers, the majority of which are French multinationals with substantial international communications needs.This segment represents annual revenues of 10 billion francs.
In October 2000 Jean-Pierre Temime was named head of marketing for France Telecom's Large Business Division, with responsibility for all products and services in France (Global One has responsibility for these products in other countries).This spans voice, data and video, in particular inbound and outbound voice, broadband, e-business and convergence solutions.
