Now, as we are now part of a larger business community, Indigo Teiwes-Cain, our Research Analyst, chairs the Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center's tenant Energy Committee.Indigo works with this committee to increase the building's use of renewable energy and purchase carbon offsets to mitigate some of the building's fossil fuel usage. In order to inspire tenant participation, Progressive Investment Management has committed to buying "green tags" (which is essentially equivalent to purchasing wind or solar energy) for 100% of its share of the building electrical use.The full program will be in effect beginning in 2002 and results will be available in early 2003.BACK TO TOP
