Indigo has 7 years of experience managing Portfolio 21's environmental sustainability research program.She is a graduate of the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business and the Environmental Studies Program.Indigo has worked with the Sierra Club, the University of Oregon's Sustainable Business Symposium, and the Oregon Natural Step Network.She is Chair of the Natural Capital Center's Energy Working Group as well as the Green House Network.

Indigo Teiwes-CainResearch AnalystIndigo manages the environmental sustainability research program for Portfolio 21.Her work involves company research as well as industry analysis.Indigo graduated from the University of Oregon and was valedictorian of both the Lundquist College of Business and the Environmental Studies Program.She has worked with the Sierra Club, the University of Oregon's Sustainable Business Symposium, Ogden Environmental and Energy Services and the Sustainable Project Exchange, an Oregon Natural Step Network Group.Indigo is currently Chair of the Energy Working Group of the Natural Capital Center, and is a Board member of the Green House Network.

Now, as we are now part of a larger business community, Indigo Teiwes-Cain, our Research Analyst, chairs the Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center's tenant Energy Committee.Indigo works with this committee to increase the building's use of renewable energy and purchase carbon offsets to mitigate some of the building's fossil fuel usage.In order to inspire tenant participation, Progressive Investment Management has committed to buying "green tags" (which is essentially equivalent to purchasing wind or solar energy) for 100% of its share of the building electrical use.The full program will be in effect beginning in 2002 and results will be available in early 2003.BACK TO TOP
