Hans Teiv new director of Eesti Post
On 27 October2006 Hans Teiv was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Eesti Post.
Since 1994, Hans Teiv (46) has worked in the Saare County Government, of which the last three years were spent as the Acting County Governor.In prior years, he has worked as the director of the Valjala Soda Plant as well as the chief engineer of the Saaremaa Agro-Industrial Association and the Kõljala State Farm.Teiv graduated from the former Estonian Agricultural Academy (now: Estonian University of Life Sciences) as a mechanical engineer and
furthered his education at EBS with a one-year course in business management and various management courses in Denmark.He has been a Member of the Supervisory Board of AS Saarte Liinid, and the Chairman of the Saaremaa Deepwater Port Commission.Teiv will continue to participate in the work of the Commissions on Estonian Small Islands, and of the Experts on the Saaremaa Permanent Connection, as well as in the work of the Key Committee of the Cooperation Organization of the Baltic Sea Islands, and the Rotary Club.
