Queensland solicitor Judy Teitzel, who acts for many past real estate victims agrees: "The Government should legislate retrospectively, and give Fair Trading more power to chase these marketeers rather than immorally penalising their victims."

Judy Teitzel and her team at Brisbane law firm Carter Capner, which won the appeal by Fair Trading, are not yet out of the woods.
