ADAM TEITELBAUM (San Mateo, CA) Adam is the founder of Adam's Organic Coffees in San Francisco, the first all organic coffee company in Northern California.
He came to realize that if everyday consumer items could be made with both, sustainability of the planet as well as the bottom line as priorities, this would be a successful business model for the future.
In 1998 he co-founded the Organic Coffee Association (ORCA) and his coffee was distributed in 23 western states.
Adam's Organic Coffees was acquired by Peerless Coffee and Tea of Oakland, CA in 2002.
As a pioneer in the category of organic coffee, and the creator of a blue chip brand, Adam managed the brand for Peerless for several years.
Adam sees the solar industry as a potential major source of clean sustainable, and renewable, alternative energy that can contribute to a sustainable bottom line as well as a cleaner planet.
Recently, he has been a solar sales consultant with Owens Electric & Solar and Solar City in the Bay Area.
He is also involved in establishing a permanent structure for the San Mateo Farmers Market and volunteers at Sustainable San Mateo County, a local non profit.
ORION WALKER (Hopland, CA) Orion is the Events Manager for the Solar Living Institute.
