   Thomas has seven years of consulting and market research experience. Most recently, he worked as a free-lance consultant primarily on telematics in the automotive industry and financial service projects. Before, he was a consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in the competence centre Strategy and Organisation for two years. He holds a degree in Business Administration of the European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel and an M.A. in Philosophy from the Munich School of Philosophy.
   
   Currently, he is at the European University Institute in Florence, working on his Ph.D. thesis.
