    Susan Taylor-Leduc began her career as an art historian at Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut.Entering the University of Pennsylvania in January 1982, she wrote her masters thesis on Hubert-François Gravelot's illustrations of Racine's plays, located in the drawing collections at the Rosenbach Museum and Library, Philadelphia.She also co-curated an exhibition of Hubert-François Gravelot's and Jean-Honoré Fragonard's book illustrations at the Rosenbach Library.
