Mr. Ron Tanner

Ron Tanner, Vice President, Terminal Operations. Mr. Tanner is responsible for operations, maintenance, technical services, training and security at Cheniere's LNG terminals. Mr. Tanner has been professionally involved with LNG for over 30 years. Prior to joining Cheniere Mr. Tanner served as the Plant Manager of the Trunkline LNG receiving terminal in Lake Charles, Louisiana where he was responsible for the overall management of the facility. Mr Tanner has twenty years experience in the U.S. Coast Guard where he managed the Hazardous Materials program at USCG Headquarters in Washington, D.C. developing international and domestic safety standards and regulations for the vessels and facilities involved in the transportation of hazardous materials. Mr Tanner is currently the LNG Terminal representative on the Southeast Texas Waterway Advisory Council. He has a B.E. degree in Marine Engineering from SUNY Maritime College and a combined Masters of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Naval Architecture/ Marine Engineering from The University of Michigan.
