Before joining Swiss Re, Rolf was a partner with a consulting boutique in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and before that a country risk analyst at a major Swiss bank.He studied history and political science in Zurich and Geneva, and followed up with post-graduate studies at Georgetown University, Washington, and Australian National University, Canberra.He also holds an Executive MBA degree.
