Alyson trained at Burges Salmon and qualified into the Commercial Litigation department in 1997.
She has wide experience advising on her principal areas of interest which are health and safety, rail, and insurance issues including liability and professional negligence work.
Alyson became a Professional Support Lawyer for the Commercial Disputes Department in 2003 and is responsible for all aspects of professional support to the department.
She is responsible for knowledge management including collation of know-how within the department and assisting lawyers to access and use legal resources quickly and effectively for the benefit of clients.
As part of the professional support she provides, Alyson assesses departmental and individual lawyer's training needs.
She also arranges and provides training to the department as well as presenting to both in-house lawyers and clients, and providing bespoke training events for clients.
