Akane Tanaka, Chief ConciergeAkane Tanaka's BA in French Literature and sixteen years of experience in front-line, international guest relations seem a natural extension of the fact that she was born in Kobe, a cosmopolitan port city with a long history of overseas trade.From the Front Office of Hotel Okura Kobe, she went on to work at the hotel's Amsterdam property for seven years, then returned to Japan in 2001 to work at two Tokyo hotels before accepting the position of Chief Concierge with The Peninsula Tokyo.She is Treasurer for Les Clefs d'Or Japan.

Ms Akane Tanaka Chief Concierge Ms Tanaka has over 16 years of international guest relations experience. She was posted in Amsterdam for seven years before returning to Japan to work in the luxury hotel industry, and in 2007, she accepted the position of Chief Concierge with The Peninsula Tokyo. Ms. Tanaka is one of only 14 members of the prestigious Les Clefs d'Or Japan.
