Megan Taft, Adventure Program Coordinator and Dorm Parent, joins the Oliverian staff after spending the last three years both teaching and serving as the Residential Director for the Leadership Decisions Institute affiliated with Kieve Affective Education in midcoast Maine.She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in Sociology.Megan has experience teaching students in a variety of adventure based experiential programs and takes a great interest in utilizing the outdoors as a medium for affecting positive change in youth.She has extensive experience backpacking in the White Mountains and thru-hiked the John Muir Trail in the Sierra Nevada range of California during the summer of 2004.She most recently spent the summer working for the American Youth Foundation leading biking, canoeing and backpacking trips throughout the New England region.During her free time Megan enjoys backpacking, snowboarding, running, reading and knitting.
