Mark Sylvia concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, estate and asset protection planning and tax law. He serves as counsel to a wide variety of closely-held businesses, their owners and families.

He also assists individuals and businesses in tax matters with the Internal Revenue Service and administrative agencies of states and localities. He is a member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council and the Rhode Island Bar Association Committee on Taxation.

Mr. Sylvia is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Connecticut, and before the United States District Courts for the Districts of Rhode Island and Connecticut. He earned a B.S. degree from Providence College, a J.D. degree from the Quinnipiac University School Of Law and an LL.M. degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
