Although the vote to adopt the policy won't come up until August, David Swenson, professor of law at Baylor's Sheila and Walter Umphrey Law Center, doesn't think Baylor has much to worry about.

"Like every place, law schools need to address the standards already in place," Swenson said.

"And all law schools have to be in compliance with the ABA."

Swenson said the new standards will result in "minor tinkering" with Baylor's current admissions policy.
