Diny Sweitzer, owner of West Hill Shop in Putney, said she also bikes about five miles to her bike shop each day.West Hill Shop is offering free daily bike rentals from now until Memorial Day.

"I'm trying to get people to try it because when I do it I feel really good when I get to work, and when I go home I feel even better," she said, not to mention the money she saves on gas.
