Connie, only being 22, was a dear friend of mine who needed heart and bi-lateral.She had a rare blood type B, so we all know it could have worked out for her advantage, but unfortunately it did not.Connie suffered from PPH and about two years ago the doctors found a secondary illness of the lungs, but they could not figure out what is was and it was this disease that took Connie away from us not her PPH.She had become a strong advocate for organ donation and an active volunteer in the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.She led a support group with another lady in Chicago for those suffering from PPH/PH and anyone else that wanted to attend.She was always a ray of sunshine no matter how she felt and she is a person to whom all can look up to whether you are young or old, and a great inspiration too.I will miss her smile dearly but I know she will always live within my heart.Connie, we will all miss and at one or another will see you again.
