   Mr. Sweet served as the First Vice President and Director for Nelnet from 2000-2004 and various positions with Union Bank and Trust Company from 1988 - 2000 ranging from Marketing Officer through First Vice President as well as Marketing Officer for Marine Midland Bank. He also possesses direct school experience having served as the Student Loan Specialist at Arizona State University and in the Financial Aid Office at Northern Arizona University.
   
   Mr. Sweet had been a long standing member of a myriad of financial aid related associations throughout the country and has served on multiple committees and on the Board of Directors for both State and Regional Associations. Mr. Sweet has actively participated in multiple HEA Reauthorizations through direct Capitol Hill efforts as well as being a key member on several industry defining initiatives including ELM. Additionally, Mr. Sweet has been extensively active as a speaker and presenter on a variety of industry related topics throughout his career.
   
   Mr. Sweet obtained a B.S. degree in Anthropology from Northern Arizona University in 1985 and a Master of Public Administration degree from Arizona State University in 1989.
