Margaret Rose Sweeney

Sister Patricia Michael Sweeney, O.Carm. was born Margaret Rose Sweeney at Pottsville Hospital in 1943.She graduated from St. William elementary school and was a member of the first graduating class at Cardinal Dougherty High School in 1960.She entered the Carmelites in September, 1960, and received her R.N. at St. Vincent Nursing School.For the past thirty-nine years, Sister's ministry has taken her to a variety of nursing homes.In January 1981 she was assigned to Sacred Heart Manor in Philadelphia.Due to her astute administration, the Manor has been refurbished, and a Personal Care/Independent Living Facility has been added.Sister Patricia is presently studying for a Masters Degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling at Neumann College.

John W. Turner Father Judge High School, and La Salle College and Trenton State College.His many business ventures over the years have included body fender shops, an ambulance company, department stores, electrical contracting, and the stock market.His success has enabled him to become a member of the board of trustees at Holy Family College and a member of the advisory board at the University of Pennsylvania.Turner gives private endowed scholarships to Lehigh University, Chestnut Hill College, Nazareth Academy, and Father Judge High School.In addition to his public charities, his generosity is extended to private families in whatever manner their needs may be met.John, his wife Dorothy, and their two children reside in Yardley.
