Katherine Sweeney

Sweeney served in the Army during the Vietnam War in Taiwan from 1961 until discharged in 1964.He worked as a technician for AT&T in Cambridge, Mass., and as a field engineer for Philco Ford in Thailand.He later worked as a firefighter for the Malden (Mass.) Fire Department, served as a driver of Engine 6 at Linden (Mass.) Fire Station and was appointed assistant fire alarm supervisor as a captain in 1990, where he served until retiring in 1999.
