    Lee Dean, food editor of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, who is a farmers' market shopper herself, suggested food writers attending the Association of Food Journalists' conference in Minneapolis Aug. 21-25 visit the Saturday Mill City Farmer's Market next to the Mill City Museum on the banks of the Mississippi River.The site is about a mile from the wreckage of the Interstate 35 bridge collapse.

    The market, Dean said, is popular with out-of-towners who enjoy getting a taste of the seasonal fruits, vegetables and specialty food products available in Minneapolis.It's an opportunity to talk with locals and buy things that are unique to Minnesota, she added.
