Maosong Sun

Maosong Sun is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University. His research interests include computational linguistics, statistical and corpus-based natural language processing, for example, SMT, Chinese computing (morphology, syntax and semantics), terminology, and information retrieval. He has published more than 120 papers in academic journals and international conferences. Maosong is currently the vice president of the Chinese Information Processing Society (CIPS), chairman of Technical Society of Computational Linguistics of CIPS, director of the Computer Terminology Standardization Committee of China Computer Federation, member of the Council of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, and member of the National Commission for Terminology Standardization of China. He is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Chinese Information Processing, an academic journal in the area of natural language processing in China.
