The latest book is The Watcher and it is by far the most gonzo one of the bunch.Strong is appointed a "watcher" who has to police the supernatural community.Despite the title, the book has little to do with her watcher duties to feature a more personal case for Strong.By the time the book is over, readers have had run-ins with an evil sorceress, a diabolic cult, a botched demon summoning, a hidden criminal lair, more werecreatures, more vampires, and what appears to be a leprechaun.Yes folks, a leprechaun - or a close family resemblance at any rate.

I want to point out that Anna Strong's approach to sexuality is refreshing for this genre.While Strong has a steady boyfriend, the books feature an array of other love interests.Strong "gets busy" with many of them and has little guilt about it.
