Earning two degrees from University of Missouri, Kansas City, Norma Stratemeier received a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Arts, history degree from that institution.She is licensed to practice law in Missouri.Ms. Stratemeier is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Kansas City Association of Women Lawyers.
Joining the Paralegal Program in 1987, Norma Stratemeier came from a background in local government, private law practive, and part-time legal teaching.She served as Facilitator of the JCCC Paralegal Program from 1987 to 1990.Currently, she specializes in the teaching of Legal Research and Civil Litigation.Depending upon the particular semester, you may also find her teaching such courses as Intro to Law, Law Office Management, and Medical-legal Research and Writing.
Norma Stratemeier has published several articles about the paralegal profession, and has appeared as a speaker at various local and state paralegal association meeetings and seminars.She frequently performs critical reviewing of manuscripts for publishers of legal materials.In the fall of 1994, she interned for an attorney who specializes in litigation practice.
