    This time last year, Our Redeemer's Christian School's Jenny Strand was just a cheerleader.The senior could not play due to a knee injury suffered over the summer.

    This season, however, Strand has not only made a comeback, but has been instrumental in the Knights' season.Just being back on the court during tournament time has Strand excited.

    'I missed out on a lot of things last year,' she said. 'We are definitely ready to go this year.'

    Strand and the rest of the Knights are looking to take their first step in defending the Region 6 title they won last season at the District 12 tournament starting Saturday.No. 2 seed ORCS tangles with No. 7 Surrey at 5:30 p.m.
