Since Sydney's return to Houston in 2004, she has become the Founding Director of EcstaticDance Houston & the Sunday Morning "Urban GROOVE Tribe" weekly Community Dances, producer of "Earth Dance Houston" Global Prayer & Dance for Peace Festival in 2005 and 2006, and hosts various workshops as well as the "Ecstatic Dance for Peace Radio Show" on 90.1 KPFT.Sydney occasionally performs Sacred Dance in Houston for the Magdalene Community at Rothko Chapel and for the Last Organic Outpost.Sydney was recently featured in a Platinum award-winning film, "House of Dreams" in April, 2007."I Dance to Free my Body, Awaken my Soul, & Enliven my Spirit"

1. to provide Sydney (the Producer) with several pieces of music that represent your group.(Sydney & Facilitators of Ecstatic Dance Houston will design the music line up for the opening ceremony community dance 4-5:30pm . All groups will be encouraged to dance together to each others music.When a group hears their music- they are welcomed and encouraged to go to the center of the room and show their style- strut their stuff- or get creative ... )

2. to show up by 4pm for the Opening Ceremony in Full Costume -of course inviting all of your friends- to join in the celebration.

3. bring marketing materials, fliers etc to place on a group table. ( Sydney will announce the names of all the groups present and representing Houston 's diversity!)
