    Born in Cambridge, Mass., Mrs. Stone was a 1942 graduate of Belmont High School in Belmont, Mass., and attended Bridgewater State College.

    Mrs. Stone worked at New England Telephone Co. for more than 40 years in Watertown, Mass., and Waltham, Mass.She retired to Boothbay Harbor.

    A member and treasurer of the Coastal Club and Senior Citizens Group, Mrs. Stone was a member of the Boothbay Region YMCA and secretary for the Humane Society.She was also active at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Boothbay Harbor.

    She is survived by a brother, Thomas J. Hazlett of Centerville; and many nieces and nephews.

    A funeral Mass was held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Boothbay Harbor.

    Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice; or to the Boothbay Region Humane Society.
