George Stone, managing principal of the Westchester County-based brokerage, said he forged the alliance to increase customer service.Stone said the affiliation would give buyers the convenience of one-stop shopping for both their homes and mortgages.
It could also streamline the mortgage application processes, reduce closing costs, and speed up mortgage approvals, he said.
According to data from the National Association of Realtors, homebuyers want a simplified home purchase transaction, including coordinated services for mortgage, title insurance and casualty insurance.In some of the most recent surveys, about 40 percent said they would even pay more for coordination if it were available.
Chase plans to have loan officers in each of the Julia B. Fee offices in Armonk, Chappaqua, Katonah, Larchmont, Rye and Scarsdale.Stone said representatives would be on hand much of the time the real estate offices are open, including weekends.

Stone declined to discuss the potential profit of the relationship with Chase, saying instead, "We don't look at the venture from a financial perspective.
