  Kathy Stoewer is the director of property accounting for RiverRock Real Estate Group, a West Coast-based commercial real estate management and leasing firm headquartered in South Coast Metro, California.Kathy is responsible for all accounting oversight.Kathy also serves as RiverRock's internal CAM auditor and is responsible for all property level accounting training.Kathy has over 15 years experience in the real estate accounting field, with the last 9 years in a controller capacity.
  
  Kathy was most recently a portfolio controller with Insignia/ESG, Inc., responsible for the oversight of the monthly financial reporting for The Irvine Company (TIC), a multi-million dollar owner/developer of over 130 commercial properties.Kathy supervised a staff of 12 accountants, coordinated consolidation of TIC's accounting system to MRI Windows and implemented the CAM module and the Budget/Forecast modules for this account.
  
  Before joining Insignia, Kathy was a project controller with Mills Corporation, a self managed real estate trust, where she was responsible for the implementation and management of an $850 million budget and was a direct supervisor to 5 accountants.
  
  Prior to Mills Corporation, Kathy was the assistant controller at Aptare, Incorporated, a residential developer.She prepared all financial statements, cash flow analysis and project budgets, as well as supervised and organized the Accounting / Construction department.She has also served as a senior project accountant at both Maguire Thomas Partners, a multi-million dollar real estate company, and as an accountant at Beverly Hills Properties, a residential real estate management company.
  
  Kathy holds an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a double major - Accounting and Finance with a minor in Economics from California State University, Fullerton.
