   Deborah Stehlin has been called as faith and life pastor to Shepherd of the Valley, Apple Valley, where she will work with children's and youth ministry. A native of Chisholm, she majored in communications and writing at Augsburg College and worked for seven years in corporate communications at Honeywell and International Dairy Queen. She later served as part-time education director at Oak Grove, Richfield. While she attended Luther Seminary, she interned at Shepherd of the Valley and continued there during her senior year. She was ordained Aug. 9. She and her husband, Neil, live in Apple Valley, with their children, Allie, 14, and Zak, 12.
