We decided to drive to Moncton and talk to Winston Steeves, owner of Modern Construction and a very prominent Baptist layman and President of the Atlantic Baptist Convention.Unfortunately, he was in Russia at the time, but his wife, who was at home, speaking for her husband, assured us he would do the job and she would have him call us as soon as he returned.We received his call, and within a week his men and machines arrived and completed the job.He too refused to be paid.He wished to make this his contribution to the camp.

At that meeting Winston Steeves of Modern Construction and Len Phillips of Phillips Construction were elected as Directors for year 1959.
