Hugh Steeper

Robin joined Hugh Steeper in 1966, where he has held many positions including Edinburgh Branch Manager, Research Prosthetist (responsible for all of the prosthetics aspects of the introduction of children's myoelectric prostheses into the UK), and Head of Research and Development (responsible for all new products in Prosthetics, Orthotics and Assistive electronic technology).Robin also is also responsible for company training activities in Canada, Japan, India, Turkey, Iran and works elsewhere in the Middle East and Europe.He has lectured extensively and is a past chairman of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics UK National Member Society.He is currently a member of the Investigating Committee for the Health Professions Council.

Abdo Haidar, MBAPO State Registered Prosthetist and Orthotist

Abdo is a member of the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists, with 9 years of professional, managerial and technical experience in upper and lower limb prosthetics.Abdo is currently practising as a senior prosthetist/orthotist at Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton, where he is also a nominated training officer.Abdo is also registered as a part-time PhD student at the University of Surrey, Guildford, allowing him to combine his clinical interests with research into transtibial suction suspension.
