For the past 12 years, Glynis has worked in post-secondary education in both employment programs and continuing education.Currently, Glynis manages a number of continuing education portfolios including Animal Care, Culinary Arts, First Aid and Safety, Hospitality, Marine, Office Administration, and Trades Skills.She holds a bachelor degree in Psychology and Sociology and a Diploma in Criminology.Glynis is a true believer in life-long learning, positive change and following ones passion.

Glynis Steen has spent the last 10 years working at Malaspina University-College and presently works with the Centre for Continuing Studies.Throughout the last ten years, Glynis has worked in a variety of capacities including instructing, developing and coordinating new programs.She was an active member on the Film Steering Committee and is now the Secretary of the Nanaimo Film Board.
