Virginia Steen (Ginny), ,,m,in,w,t,,,e,Ginny has been a member of NCA since 1996.She became the regional chair of Northern Wisconsin Area in 2001 and is a member of St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Wisconsin Rapids.

Ginny Steen is an adult convert to the Episcopal Church and has been an active member of St. John's, Wisconsin Rapids for over 25 years.Ginny has served St. John's in many capacities through the years.She is a Chalice Bearer, Lay Eucharistic Minister and choir member.She presently serves as Assistant Treasurer of St. John's and serves on the Finance and Worship Committees She is Area Chair of the National Cathedral Association and is an active member of NCA - attending their Leadership Conference.She served two terms as Senior Warden of St. John's and has been on the Vestry for numerous terms.On the diocesan level, Ginny is on the Standing Committee filling an unexpired term. (She is eligible for reelection) Ginny has retired from Consolidated Papers, Inc. where she was an Assistant Administrator of the Worker's Compensation Insurance Department.She is married to Jim and they have two daughters and three grandchildren.

Brief statement from the nominator: Ginny is currently serving on the Standing Committee of the diocese fulfilling an unexpired term.Because she is eligible for reelection, I feel she would be an excellent member of the committee for she is knowledgeable about the issues that come before the Standing Committee.She has faithfully attended the meetings in the past and has been an active participant in the committee discussion.

Brief statement from the nominee: My vision for the Diocese of Fond du Lac is that we are regarded as progressive diocese with a vision enabling our priests and people to worship God and feel spiritually fulfilled in his Church.
