Mike Steele has graduate qualifications and experience in both business and engineering and has worked professionally in Australia, United Kingdom and North Africa.Mike's early engineering experience was gained with Comalco Aluminium,
Johns Perry Hayward and TAFE Tasmania as a lecturer in mechanical engineering before completing and winning the National Enterprise Workshop in 1983 and commencing his management consultancy in 1984.Mike is a long-standing professional member of the Market Research Society of Australasia.Mike's research client base includes over 500 small business start-up clients, community groups, professional firms, Councils and national corporates.Mike's expertise in strategic and quality management was recognized by his appointment as external lecturer for the University of Tasmania's post graduate Diploma courses in strategic corporate policy as well as the Company Director's course.In addition to his business and consultancy interests, Mike has taken a strong interest in regional development issues and applied his business skills to external directorships of a number of organisations, including regional bulk water authority, Esk Water.Mike is the current Chairman of the Esk Water Management Board and is a Director of his family business, The Branch Office Business Centre.
