   Jerry Steele , Odom's coach at Guilford , remembers a trip to Chapel Hill , where Wake was blown out by North Carolina. After the game , they visited Hal Stewart's father in a hospital in Raleigh.
   
   He said he couldn't wait to get back to Winston-Salem , Steele said. He said , 'I'm going to run until I die or until I drop , then this thing will be out of my system.' I think running has saved his life and sanity. Everybody's got to have their outlet..
