ConnXion's Board has named Mr Iain Steele as incoming Chairman effective in November 2005.

Iain Steele, Non-Executive Chairman

Iain has extensive experience in regional IT and telecommunications and has worked at board-level in private and public companies.He is the non-executive Chairman of ConnXion (an Australian listed company) and is the Australian representative of Scottish Development International (SDI), the trade development arm of the devolved Scottish government.

With business partners in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong, he has founded successful company start-ups, particularly in the area of e-learning.In the past, Iain has held senior regional roles in British Telecom (the UK telecommunications carrier), including responsibility for Asia Pacific regulatory affairs, distributor management and business development.
