Speaker Background: Scott is a local educator and speaker on financial investment issues and he regularly gives talks for businesses, Chambers of Commerce, pre-schools, and other community groups. He has also taught financial education classes at local community colleges and local adult education programs. Some of the courses offered annually include “The ABCs of Financial Investing,†“Retirement Plans for Small Business Owners,†“Understanding your 401k†and “College Planning Strategies.†Scott has been regularly invited to make these presentations for the New Mothers’ Support Group at Good Samaritan Hospital, the Santa Clara County Mothers of Twins Club, and local playgroups in Las Madres. Scott and his wife, Debbie, have three young sons, Weston, Boone and Cooper.

Scott Stauffer is currently an Investment Representative with Edward Jones Investments.Mr. Stauffer has a M.B.A. from the University of California at Davis and a B.A. in General Science from Grinnell College in Iowa.Prior to working for Edward Jones, Mr. Stauffer had a twelve year career in training leaders and senior managers in the private, public, and non-profit sectors.Mr. Stauffer's present career is a natural extension of his life-long interest in investment planning and education.He is a frequent speaker on such topics as Retirement and Estate Planning, College Savings, and Portfolio Management.

Mr. Stauffer is a member of the Cupertino Rotary Club, an ambassador for the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the current Leadership Cupertino class.
