  Bob Stauffer is invited to teach the Federal Segment Architecture Methodology on behalf of the USDA Graduate School.
  
  Category: General The USDA's Graduate School has invited Bob Stauffer to teach their course on the Federal Segment Architecture Methodology (FSAM). The FSAM is OMB's newly released methodology that provides guidance to federal agencies on the development of a segment architecture for a core line of business. In February, Bob taught the FSAM to an initial group of 15 students from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He provided a full set of detailed training materials, and shared more than 70 examples of tools and analytical techniques for students to begin developing their segment architecture deliverables.   Bob Stauffer, president of Information Dynamics, said the company was pleased it was selected out of several that submitted bids for the contact in April.
  
  "We're working with the business of NASA to help them with their mission," he said."This is a significant win for our little company."
  
  The large job will solidify the company's presence in downtown Elyria for years to come, Stauffer said.One to two full-time positions are expected to be added in Elyria specifically for the contract, he said.
  
  "The work is being done all over the United States," he said, adding that the contract calls for work at all of 11 NASA locations.
  
  The core services that Information Dynamics provides are business analysis, program management and strategic planning, said Stauffer.
