Campus minister Todd Stancil emphasizes that devos are visitor friendly times where UCM students invite friends, classmates, neighbors and co-workers.

    ...

Stancil said UCM is primarily three things - a family, a hospital and an army.A big part of what UCM does is minister to those who need friends and a home, those who are hurt and need help and those who need a church home and other Christians.

UCM's motto is that they are "Christians who happen to be students, not students who happen to be Christians."

Stancil said students from all religious backgrounds or no religious backgrounds are welcome.

UCM has 115 members for the fall 2002 semester.

Though the old church building may be a mystery to some, University Church of Christ and UCM members hope to reveal their message to many.
