Karen Spellman, consultant, is the Conference Line Producer for the Annual Members Conference.She specializes in large-scale indoor and outdoor events including their design, planning, production and management.Ms. Spellman is a graduate of Howard University and received a Masters in City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.Some of the events produced by Karen Spellman include: "TASTE OF DC"; The International Special Olympics; "Festival of Cultures" (Library of Congress); "Black Family Reunion" (National Council of Negro Women); "Macon (Georgia) Music & Heritage Festival"; '"150th Anniversary Celebration"(The Smithsonian); "America's Millennium, Millennium on the Mall" (Presidential Inaugural Committee); "L.Douglas Wilder Inaugural Gala"; "1988 Democratic National Convention's Press Party"; the "Washington, DC Salute to Nelson Mandela"; and "Silverbelle," A Patti Labelle Concert (American Foundation for AIDS Research).Ms. Spellman has been a consultant with Arts Presenters since 2003.
