Mrs. Sowles was a member of the Warren Women«s Club, Antique Studies Club, Newcomers Club, and a local book club.She served on the board of the YWCA and was an over 5,000 hour volunteer at the Warren General Hospital, working in the Window Box.She was also an avid teddy bear collector, and spoke on their history and significance at schools, hospitals, and community events.
