Yasser Sowb, PhD, Senior ConsultantYasser holds a doctorate in Biomedical Engineering with specialty in Human Factors and User-interface design of medical instrumentation.He has worked in the areas of displays and user-interface design, contextual inquiry, and usability evaluation for the past 13 years.He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Human Factors, user-interface design, and human performance assessment.He has worked as center and research laboratory manager at the Simulation Center for Crisis Management Training in Healthcare at Stanford University where he was involved in design and evaluation of medical equipment user-interfaces and clinical training and education programs.Recently, he was a Human Factors program manager at Hospira, Inc., where he was involved in user-interface design and usability evaluation of infusion pumps and supporting PC-based applications.
