Mickey Southerland started in the insurance business in 1967 in claims and marketing with USF&G.Mickey became an agent in 1971 and became associated with George Chadwick Insurance in 1983.

Mickey is a graduate of Barton College and obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1981 and his Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation in 1983.
