    According to court documents, Officer Jose Sousa said that police were dispatched to the 100 block of High Street, Phoenixville for the report of a domestic assault around 5:04 p.m. July 27.

    Upon arrival, Sousa said, he came into contact with the same woman, and observed injuries to the victim's face, neck and right shoulder.

    She told police that Davis had assaulted her in the residence during an argument over the ending of their relationship.She said that during the course of the assault, Davis punched her approximately 8 to 10 times about the face.

    "She said he choked her to the point that she started to see blackness," said Sousa."She said he threatened to kill her if he couldn't have her."

    The woman told police that she was scared for her life during the assault, and the only thing that stopped the assault was the intervention of her children.

    According to court documents, Officer Jose Sousa said that police were advised of three fraudulent prescriptions being passed at the Rite Aid Pharmacy, 200 Kimberton Road, around 4:19 p.m. July 30.

    "The pharmacy checked with the prescribing doctors who advised them that they issued no such prescription to the subjects named on the prescriptions," said Sousa."The prescriptions were called into the pharmacy by a female."

    Approximately 5:50 p.m., police were called back to Rite Aid Pharmacy because a subject was there to pick up the prescriptions, said Sousa.

    According to Officer Jose Sousa, a GMC Denali, driven by a Phoenixville male, was traveling east on Nutt Road, just before the Gay Street intersection, around 4:40 p.m. May 21.At the same time, a Plymouth Voyager, driven by a Pottstown female with one child passenger, was traveling behind the Denali, heading east towards the intersection.Witnesses told police that a group of abortion protesters, one man and several women, were standing on the corner of Nutt Road, holding and waving signs depicting gruesome images."Both drivers said that they were distracted by the abortion protesters standing on the corner," said Sousa."Apparently they were waving signs at passing vehicles."The Voyager rear-ended the Denali just past the intersection, causing both vehicles to come to a stop right across from the rear parking lot of the Gateway Pharmacy."Witnesses told us that after the accident happened, the protesters left the scene immediately," said Sousa.
