Besides the four principals, Business Manager Sally Douglas said that the School Department has received retirement notices from 49 employees this year, including 34 teachers and Pittsfield High School Vice Principal JoAnn Soules.

After the union meeting took place, the Pittsfield High School faculty members gathered in a semi-circle as Principal Howard J. Eberwein III and Vice Principal JoAnn Soules explained how the transition to Taconic would take place.
