   Dr. Soules, a private pilot and an inventor, was a Professor of Physics at Cleveland State University (CSU) from 1968 until his retirement in 1994. He was Dean of the College of Arts and Science at CSU. Dr. Soules was also a professor of physics at New Mexico State University and a physicist in the Physics Branch of the Office of Naval Research where he was awarded a Commendation for Superior Accomplishment. He is a member of the Inventors Hall of Fame.
